ALUBOND FR-A2 ACM PANEL FIRE-RESISTANT CORE

Alubond-Stone (FR-A2) are exterior fire retardant panels featuring over 90% stone core sandwiched between two metal skins. Alubond-Stone (FR-A2) uses a patented core formulation enriched with a high percentage of Magnesium Hydroxide to offer superior fire retardant capabilities, making it an exceptionally safe cladding solution for buildings worldwide. Alubond-Stone (FR-A2) has passed stringent fire tests worldwide, achieving classifications such as EN 13501-1 B S1 D0 (over 90% stone core content) and EN 13501-1 B s1 d0 (over 70% stone core content).

Magnesium hydroxide, Mg(OH)₂, commonly forms in various geological settings, including as an alteration product of periclase in marble, in low-temperature hydrothermal veins within metamorphosed limestones and chlorite schists, and during the serpentinization of dunites. It frequently occurs alongside minerals like serpentine, calcite, aragonite, dolomite, magnesite, hydromagnesite, artinite, talc, and chrysotile.
